“In the space of a couple of years Twitter has surpassed all the other major social media and web 2.0 sites and offers internet marketers access to a vast amount of potential traffic.” wrote Sathish, the landlord of this blog in one of his recent posts. This is a great start to introduce to you a tool, that will do exactly that, in a genuine, yet highly efficient way.
For effective Internet Marketing the line between “auto-everything” and efficiently tweeting genuine content has become very thin. It’s not always easy to find those tools which don’t cross this line. Yet it is very important to figure it out. If one is in the game for the long run and wants to build a genuine appearance on Twitter, you should not be aiming to be fooled by “auto-everything tools”.
How Buffer works
Therefore I want to introduce you to Buffer, a new Twitter tool, which will help you to be highly efficient, yet stay personal and genuine.
With Buffer you are able to write a couple of tweets at one point and add them to a buffered queue of tweets. Buffer then makes sure to tweet your queued up tweets at the best times of the day to get the highest engagement available. There is no hassle of time setting or scheduling every individual tweet. All you have to do is keep that buffer topped up with your tweets. Buffer takes care of the rest.
How to best use Buffer
You top up your Buffer by simply clicking the Buffer bookmarklet or Chrome Extension icon. You can then intuitively add another tweet to your Buffer, taking the suggested text or adjusting it to go with a shortened link to the page. Here is how it looks:

You can do this when browsing the web and reading the news in the morning for example. Whenever you like something, hit the Buffer icon and it will be added to your Buffer queue of tweets. On one side you make sure not to overwhelm your followers with tweets, whenever you read articles. On the other, you are prepared to still create valuable content for your followers, even when you are not on Twitter.
Finally, treating yourself to a topped up Buffer is something that simply gives you a good feeling of having planned out your timeline on twitter. Lean back and enjoy the engagement, when Buffer tweets for you at the best times to reach your followers.
Have you tried Buffer? Do let us know what do you think about this new tweet scheduling tool with us, here in the comments section.
