1. Login to your Deramhost Web panel and Click on the Free Website Software.
2. Now you have three Options to Install the website Software. I would like to stick with the Advanced mode since it gives you full control over the software installed in our web space.
3. Dreamhost web hosting offer plenty of website softwares. In this tutorial I am sticking with Installing WordPress on Dreamhost. So Select the WordPress option (Default).
4. Now select the domain in which you want to Install the WordPress Software. You can also have the option to install wordpress in subdomains.
Since this is an Advanced mode of Installing wordpress you don’t need to create a separate databse. Just check the box next to create a database for me automatically and click install it now for me button.
5. If everything goes right, you will get this message in your screen.
6. Now you have installed WordPress in your domain on Dreamhost Webhosting. To confirm this you will get an Email from Dreamhost.
7. To complete the WordPress Installation click on the first link and follow the instructions given in the screenshot.
Enter you blog title, username, password (use a strong one) and email address. Also make sure to tick the box which says allow my site to appear in search engines and then click Install WordPress.
You are done. Now you can now proceed with login into your wordpress blog. Now all you need to do is install theme and plugins and your blog will be up within no time.

It’s very simple. Just login to your wordpress admin panel -> Settings -> Discussion and scroll down to avatars and enable the show avatats option and click changes. Also sameer, register with Gravatar using your email address and add your photo. It will look more professional.
