With the rates of new blogs being created everyday, we surely know there is a reason behind people creating blogs and that is because of the numerous opportunities it can provide.
Blogging serves as a great source of income, it can help you build a name, it can help you communicate with the world and it can even help you make a lot of friends (if that is what you want).
We all know that the more of a thing we have, the more chances of failure there is, many blogs have been destined to fail, not because they can’t succeed but because their owner is not doing what is right. This post will be talking about 4 things you’re doing on your blog that makes it destined to fail.
1. You Are Not Providing Great Content
One of the major reasons why many blogs will fail is because they are not providing great content.
You will see a lot of bloggers using their blogs wrongly, instead of them writing valuable content that can impact the lives of others they will go about using their blog to abuse authorities.
Focus on providing valuable content for your readers, results will come afterwards, and many of them will thank you for it.
2. You Are Not Promoting Their Blogs
This is the worst I have seen. You will see a lot of bloggers not promoting their blogs and at the same time expecting traffic to come.
You can’t just be on a spot and it doesn’t matter how great your content is, people won’t just visit your blog but you have to let them know about it.
There are many ways to promote your blog and one of the best ones I will recommend that you invest your time and effort on is SEO (read this post on basic seo tips) because the traffic it will provide will keep on coming even after you stop working on your blog. Another great reason why SEO is very important for your blog is that it does not rely on anybody to work and it is the best type of traffic you can ever get.
Do Check:
3. They Are Too Big For Their Readers
Even though the number of bloggers doing this is very small I still see some people doing it and I will warn you against it.
Many bloggers get started from nowhere and they got support from lots of their readers who kept on encouraging them till they got where they are, the next thing they will do is to begin to abuse or look down on their readers.
This is very dangerous and can backfire, I have see someone with 5,000 readers who do comment on most of his posts lose all of them because he began to feel he is all and his readers are nothing – avoid this at all cost!
4. You Are Expecting Results Immediately
Another great reason why many blogs are destined to fail is because they are expecting results immediately.
In blogging, there is nothing like overnight success and you only get results after you have worked hard for a particular period of time. It is very important not to start blogging with an impression that you will start-making money tomorrow or within a short period of time.
Focus on what matters most, know that blogging takes time ad you will begin to see great results.
Conclusion!
There are a lot of blogging mistakes that can determine the blog’s success or failure, the above are 4 common mistakes many people commit, avoid them and you are on your way to blogging success!

Hi Oni
You are ubiqitous my friend. You have listed 4 things every blogger should read, new or established. Point 3 is very powerful as a lot of A-listers don’t bother replying to comments. One of the things that makes Pat Flynn great in my opinion is that he makes every effort to reply to comments.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for commenting Michael.
I didnt get “They Are Too Big For Their Readers”
can you plz explain by an example?
There are bloggers who think that they are better than their readers and sometimes even they abuse their readers. That is all about the third point.
Really great tips…and the third point is very interesting. Even though I haven’t seen or known any such blogger, but if it happens, then that blogger will surely be doomed. He/she will never get back the trust of the readers, which is very vital to survive in the blogging world.
If anyone do this as a blogger, he will never survive in this field.
I think the first and second things are most important for any blogger who want success in their blogging?
Even the third and fourth are also important JK.
Awesome post! I agree with you bro.thanks for sharing.
You are welcome Samuel. And thanks for stopping by.
