Microsoft’s Free Windows Live Essentials Suite Beta is now available for download

Microsoft on Thursday rolls out the new Windows Live Essentials. They also announced the availability of this new beta version for public testing. This new version is presently available in English, French, Dutch, Japanese, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish.The new Windows Live Essentials beta includes many free programs from Microsoft for Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems.

The free programs included in this beta version are Messenger, Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Sync, Writer, Mail and Family Safety. Moreover all these programs are connected to online services from Microsoft and other providers, including social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, and Linkedin, blogging tools such as Spaces and WordPress, email sites such as Hotmail, Gmail, and Yahoo Mail and Microsoft Office Web Apps.

The Windows Live Essentials beta also comes with a new feature called Windows Live Sync, which helps you to synchronize your files across multiple PCs. You can also access your PC via web using its new remote desktop feature. The other tools included in this new beta version is sharing of photos and videos with online services.
