What is National SEO?

National SEO, also known as Global SEO, is very similar to local SEO with the only difference being that the keywords change to match national– level keyword searches. One reason to do a National SEO campaign is to bring products and services within reach of customers states or internationally. These campaigns are designed to drive website traffic to real people who are interested with the websites offerings.

National SEO

Nowadays, National SEO consultants can offer services that can pull up a particular site’s major search engine rank through a variety of SEO work including high quality back linking, on page optimization, and SEO keyword research, amongst others. Site owners who previously rely on local (Search Engine Results Page) SERPs for local reach may choose to ramp up their site’s reach and embark on a National SEO campaign.

Surprisingly for some, local SEO tweaking can be a tool to achieve higher National SEO ranking because local hits using local SEO keywords can help a site reach a higher national ranking due to an accumulative effect.

For global SEO you are just adding the power of techniques like geo mapping links, directories, listing and keyword tools—all to add a specific geographical focus to your keywords. The point is that if you already started on local SEO keyword work then just continue doing so because you are in the right direction. The important thing to keep in mind is that you are targeting and getting visits from people who are genuinely interested in your product or service. Some local SEO customers have seen their site’s ratings “climb” in major search engine rankings. The point is to keep creating as much content as possible dialing in on the keyword. An example of local versus national keywords might be as follows, local keyword: “Home remodeling Scottsdale, AZ”, national keyword: “Summer home remodeling projects”.

Sticking to the basics regardless of the level of your game will keep you going up steadily. Whether local SEO or National SEO, you still have to keep your customer’s needs and goals in mind. Remember that you are trying to reach your customers as the bottom line. Another fundamental to build on is to watch hat your competitors are doing too. Moreover, and most likely the most important tip, is to contact an SEO specialist who can deliver the results you need.
