What’s the Deal with the Bloggers?

According to Wikipedia, “The blogosphere is made up of all blogs and their interconnections. The term implies that blogs exist together as a connected community (or as a collection of connected communities) or as a social network in which everyday authors can publish their opinions”. In simple terms, Blogosphere is a world made up of blogs and every blogger who is out there with a blog is aware of this term.

But have you ever Have wondered who and what the blogosphere consisted of? Well, to answer this question, a recent study was undertaken by Technorati, a search engine for blogs. The study was largely done in surveys and they have also asked bloggers of their demographic information, blogging activity, and profitability.

The data yielded in this study reveals some interesting findings. Flowtown, a site known for infographic, designed a graphic using the data from Technorati and named it as “What’s the Deal with the Blogger’s”. The infographic exactly tells us Who’s in the Blogosphere, in an easy-to-follow format.

This Infographic, helps us to understand the blogosphere completely. Since the data, Flowtown used in this infographic, belongs to the survey taken in 2009, I don’t think the total number of blogs and number of bloggers from Asia-Pacific will remain same, for the year 2010.
